Mia Barr graduated from Skidmore College in 2021 with a degree in history and political science before moving to New Orleans to join Avodah, the Jewish Service Corps. Through Avodah, Mia worked at the Promise of Justice Initiative as a Client and Family Assistance Coordinator. Prior to working at PJI, she interned at Citizens for Juvenile Justice in Boston. Mia loves walking, reading, finding swimming holes in rural Louisiana and Mississippi, and exploring restaurants in New Orleans.
