Annabelle graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she studied public policy and psychology.
At Carolina, she was an advocate at the Community Empowerment Fund and a hotline responder at the Compass Center. Academically, Annabelle conducted research for the Coastal Resilience Center on the effects of flooding on Freedom Towns across the U.S., examining how community members leverage cultural resilience in the face of climate-related disasters. In her free time, Annabelle enjoys practicing yoga and swimming in rivers.
