Ava graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Political Science, a B.A. in Peace, War, and Defense, and a minor in Social and Economic Justice.
During her time at UNC, Ava was involved in research on capital punishment, through which she developed a passion for advocacy and concrete criminal justice reform. Ava is originally from Asheville, NC, and has lived in both London and Croatia. Outside of work, she enjoys playing the guitar, camping, and traveling to new places.
