Based in New Haven, CT, Jess’s professional background includes managing grants for a trauma-informed reentry nonprofit and running national media campaigns. Jess most recently worked as the Director of Planning and Partnership at EMERGE Connecticut. Outside of PFJ, Jess also works as a spiritual director; they seek to support people of color to experience relational and contemplative healing practices that move us toward the freedom that abolition posits. Jess holds a Master’s from Yale Divinity.
