Keyasia is PFJ’s South Regional Program Manager, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to her role. She is a seasoned professional with a passion for justice reform, advocacy, and trauma-focused direct care. With a background as a forensic social worker, Keyasia has firsthand experience providing essential mental health support within correctional facilities and public defender’s offices.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Keyasia is the Founder of Mahogany Restorative Counseling, a mental health private practice dedicated to uplifting the Black community and empowering individuals to tap into their inner and outer strengths. Through her practice, she provides a safe and supportive space for clients to heal, grow, and thrive. Throughout her career, Keyasia has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to eradicating racial and socioeconomic inequities within the criminal legal system. Keyasia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and holds a Master of Social Work degree from Howard University. She currently lives in Charlotte, NC, and enjoys traveling, watching true crime documentaries, and spending time with her fur baby, Huey.
