Levi LaChappelle

Levi LaChappelle is PFJ’s Chief of Staff for the Client Advocate Program. He supports program staff, leads Advocate career development, and contributes heavily to recruiting and training.

In prior roles at PFJ, Levi supported the Santa Cruz County and Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Offices and contributed to PFJ’s partnership development nationwide. Before joining PFJ, Levi was a Staff Attorney at Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County, where he served low-income tenants fighting for basic rights. Levi received his J.D. from Georgetown Law. As a law student, he worked with the Orange County Public Defender, Washington D.C.’s Public Defender Service, and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. He also co-taught a legal writing course at a Maryland prison and represented clients in parole revocation and misdemeanor cases.
