As a dual-sport athlete, she balanced her athletic commitments with her role as an ESL tutor, and writing tutor for the Bard Prison Initiative, an innovative program aimed at radically expanding college access within and beyond prison. She is a strong believer in second chances. In her free time she enjoys cooking, crafting, going to the gym, and spending time with friends.
