She/Her/Hers
Mykael is PFJ's Director of Development, and brings a broad array of experience to this work. She is a graduate of the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis, and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Before working in the social justice development sphere, she was a Substance Use Counselor, Mental Health Practitioner, Financial Social Worker, Yoga Teacher, Immigration Legal Advocate, and a Housing Case Manager (not all at the same time).
Prior to working at PFJ, Mykael spent four years as a Development Manager for ArchCity Defenders in St. Louis, the pre-eminent social justice holistic legal defense firm in St. Louis. She is driven by her beliefs in abolition and the eradication of all barriers facing BIPOC and immigrant/displaced peoples. She is excited to continue her work in challenging the scope of the criminal legal system nationally.
