While attending University of Delaware, Sumyya worked at the Department of Health and Social Services as first point of contact for all clients and interned at Community Court at Leonard L. Williams Justice Center, where both occupations consisted of helping diverse people from different socioeconomic backgrounds. Sumyya graduated with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. She has since started working on her career within the criminal justice system. Sumyya loves exploring nature, watching movies, and learning new things.
