During her time in university she helped co-found Stanford's Black Action Continent (BAC), a student led organization for black students to engage more deeply with activism, political education and targeted campaigns. Abranette was born in Liberia but grew up in up in Minnesota and during her free time she loves to listen to music, read, and crochet.
