Daphne McGee is an attorney who is passionate about using justice as a framework to eliminate health disparities and promote overall wellness and equity.
Daphne began her legal career as a fellow at the National Health Law Program. Daphne then completed an Equal Justice Works Fellowship where she expanded the Medical-Legal Partnership Program at Texas Legal Services Center (TLSC). During her time at TLSC, Daphne practiced in various civil legal areas and ultimately focused on eviction prevention and defense. Daphne received a degree from Baylor University in Community Health Education in 2012 and then received joint JD/MPH degrees from Emory University in 2015.
