Kylee is a first-generation college graduate from St. Lawrence University with majors in History and Government.
While at St. Lawrence University, Kylee interned with Massachusetts State Senator Jo Comerford. After finishing undergrad, she joined City Year Americorps in Boston, MA to have first-hand experience with the school-to-prison pipeline and help build a more equitable future for students who lack access to learning environments and resources they need to thrive due to systemic inequities. After finishing her City Year Americorps program, she wanted to continue to work at the intersection of education and the criminal justice system so she joined Teach for America in Boston, MA. She is currently pursuing Ed.M at Boston University in Education for Equity & Social Justice. After these two years of experience in education, she wanted to shift to more of the criminal justice realm and that is what led her to Partners for Justice! She is an avid reader who loves the outdoors, crime podcasts and time with her cats.
