Mira graduated from the University of Michigan with degrees in Public Policy and Spanish and a concentration in systems of urban inequality. During her time at U-M, Mira worked with local organizations such as the Homeless Action Network of Detroit and the Southwest Detroit Community Justice Center. She also participated in research about the history of life sentences for juveniles through which she wrote mitigation memos for cases to be heard in Michigan courts. In her free time, Mira loves to hike, cook and bake, go to concerts, and do crossword puzzles.
