During her time at Berkeley, she volunteered for the Teach in Prison program, where she tutored inmates at San Quentin Prison, demonstrating her commitment to education and rehabilitation. Paola also honed her public speaking and critical thinking skills as a member of the speech and debate team at Diablo Valley College. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and capturing the beauty of the world through her photography.
