Ruth graduated from Haverford College with a major in Spanish and History, writing a year long thesis on gender in representations of student martyrs of the Tlatelolco massacre of 1968.
Ruth became interested in social impact work during her time at Haverford, first as a translator for the Ticha Project and then as a receptionist for Community Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM). In her free time, she loves to watch F1, soccer, and and go on long walks.
