During his time at Michigan, Matthew served as the president of his university’s chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. where he organized programs related to voter rights and education, the needs of the African American community on campus, and college preparedness for underserved youth in the city of Detroit. In his free time, Matthew enjoys watching anime, reading philosophy, listening to music, and working out.
